Thing I Like is a personal style discovery tool that helps you find clothes that actually match your taste — not what an algorithm thinks you should buy.
Instead of endless scrolling through generic recommendations, you take a short style quiz that maps your aesthetic across six dimensions: color, finish, material, fit, formality, and pattern. We then match you with pieces from dozens of retailers that align with your unique preferences.
Your style quiz builds a multi-dimensional preference profile. As you like and pass on items, the matching engine learns and refines your results in real time. The more feedback you give, the better your matches become.
Thing I Like works without an account. Your preferences and history are stored locally on your device by default — we don't track you across the web.
If you choose to sign in, your data is also synced to a secure cloud database so you can access your style profile across devices. We only store your email address (for sign-in) and your style preferences. We never sell or share your data with third parties.
Thing I Like may earn a commission when you purchase items through links on this site. This doesn't affect the price you pay or the order in which items appear — our matching engine ranks items purely by how well they fit your style preferences.
Thing I Like is an independent project. We'd love to hear your feedback, questions, or partnership inquiries at hello@thingilike.co.
